Susan A. DeNardo, Associate

Ms. DeNardo is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, California, B.A. (Government) 2000, and University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, J.D., with a concentration in Advocacy, 2004. While completing her law degree, Ms. DeNardo spent many hours each week prosecuting misdemeanors as a student attorney for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of California. As a student attorney she gained experience in law enforcement policy and procedure, investigation, witness interviews, trial preparation and trial, law and motion, negotiation and appellate work. After graduating from law school, Ms. DeNardo accepted the esteemed position of clerking for Federal Magistrate Judge Craig M. Kellison also in the Eastern District of California. Based on her valuable experience as a law clerk, Ms. DeNardo was invited to speak and instruct other attorneys on practice and procedure in the Eastern District of California on several different occasions in the last few years. She has also interned for several months with the California Legislature and the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, and volunteered her time working with the Shasta County Peer Court - a program designed to teach high school age students about the rights and responsibilities of individuals in our legal system.

Ms. DeNardo has successfully defended clients in trial, depositions, settlement negotiation, and at the law and motion stage. Her practice includes the diverse subject areas of constitutional and governmental law, prison litigation, employment litigation, and various state-law torts. Susan DeNardo is admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Northern Districts of California.
