Since joining Angelo, Kilday & Kilduff in early 2010, Ms. Sanders has represented public entities in disputes involving nuisance regulations, excessive force allegations, constitutional challenges to gun control regulations, and a number of employment cases where age, religious, and/or disability discrimination was alleged. Even as a young associate, Ms. Sanders has argued dispositive motions before the Northern and Eastern District of California courts and her successful defense of a local gun permitting policy in federal court received national attention.
Ms. Sanders is a California-native and was raised locally in Elk Grove, CA. She received her bachelor of arts with high honors from the University of California Santa Barbara and graduated law school, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. In law school, she maintained a wide-variety of interests. She served as President of the Filipino American Law Society, Senior Articles Editor of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, and competed at the Wagner Labor Law Competition as a member of the moot court team. She is a member of the Sacramento Bar Association and the Filipino American Bar Association of Northern California. Ms. Sanders spends her days off in yoga class, snowboarding, or at home trying to keep her cats out of her crochet yarn.
