Ms. Martens has worked in the legal field for over 20 years, specializing in civil litigation. She graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She earned her paralegal certificate from Lincoln Law School in mid-86 and received her CLA shortly thereafter. Ms. Martens is currently serving her third year term as Director-at-Large for the Sacramento Valley Paralegal Association. She was recently welcomed aboard the Sacramento Law Academy Strategic Task Force and will be involved in the creation of a legal professional academy at one of Sacramento's local high schools. For fun, she is an avid gardener and rock hound and is delving into jewelry design. She will be heading to ND as often as possible to spend time with her daughter, son-in-law and her two beautiful granddaughters, Isabelle and Olivia.
