Lead appellate attorney in the firm. Responsible for civil writs and appeals as well as some trials involving a wide range of issues including public agency law, civil rights, constitutional law, federal Indian law, land use law, employment law and business litigation. Recent published opinions include DiRuzza v. County of Tehama, 323 F.3d 1147 (9th Cir. 2003); Stockinger v. Feather River Community College District, 111 Cal.App.4th 1014 (2003); Ford v. Ramirez-Palmer (Estate of Ford), 301 F.3d 1043 (9th Cir. 2002); and, Llamas v. Butte Community College District, 238 F.3d 1123 (9th Cir. 2001).
